Like the petrol flagship, the only diesel comes with only automatic transmission and is complemented by an all-wheel drive system. The diesel engine is very economical: the average fuel consumption in mixed driving mode should be about 6.5 liters, although the manufacturer has not yet published data on consumption in city mode and on the highway.

It’s worth saying a few words about the all-wheel drive system used on the fourth generation Toyota RAV4.
