Opel insignia 2.0 turbo fuel consumption. Opel insignia fuel consumption. Opel Insignia engines

In 2008, a new sedan was presented D-class Opel Insignia. The car received various customer reviews and left a mixed impression. However, most independent experts gave the exclusive new product the highest scores.

Along with this, the car is considered one of the safest in its segment. Also, a few years later, the manufacturer launched the production of Insignia in a station wagon and a hatchback. What real expense fuel Opel Insignia per 100 km?

Fuel consumption rate from the manufacturer

The most popular powertrains available for the customer to choose from are the 1.8 and 2.0 liter powertrains. Standard equipment includes a 1.8-liter engine. There are five available various configurations, differing from each other by the presence of various options. Depending on the type of drive, Opel Insignia can be front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The manufacturer has certified the following fuel consumption rate:

  • 1.8-liter engine - 10/6 liters;
  • 2.0-liter engine - 11.5 / 7.5 liters;
  • 2.0-liter diesel engine - 7/5 HP

The engine with a displacement of 1.8 liters is installed on the model from the very beginning of production. This power unit capable of producing 140 Horse power and accelerate the car up to 200 km / h. The engine is paired with mechanical box gears in six steps.

Fuel consumption of Opel Insignia according to owner reviews

The two-liter turbocharged engine was also equipped with the first generation cars. This power unit has a capacity of 220 hp. The motor supports joint operation with a manual gearbox and a 6-band automatic. A car of this configuration is capable of a speed of 250 km / h. What is the actual fuel consumption of this engine and its smaller counterpart? Reviews of car owners will help you figure it out.

Modification with engine 1.8

  1. Alexey, Tver. I bought an Opel Insignia three years ago. Machine produced in 2010 with a manual transmission. In general, I can say that the car is of high quality and reliable. The only drawback, in my opinion, is the poor insulation of the cabin. It is too noisy at high speeds, especially in the rear seats. I also want Insignia to be more economical, since 9 liters in the city per 100 km is slightly more than the norm;
  2. Mikhail, Voronezh. I drove it for several years, then decided to change the car and bought an Opel Insignia with an engine of 145 forces. Frisky and dynamic enough car. It easily picks up speed on the track, but in the city you don't get out of the general stream, it dashingly tears at the start. The flow rate turns out to be 10 liters in the city with my driving style. On the track, it is stable 6.5 liters. You can drive more carefully, then you will have to refuel the car less often;
  3. Andrey, Chelyabinsk. I bought this sedan 4 years ago in the salon. A car with a 1.8-liter engine paired with a mechanic. Drew attention to Insignia because of the design. A modern and stylish car. After I got acquainted with the technical component and signed up for a test drive. This car suits me perfectly. I'm not complaining about gasoline consumption - in summer 9 liters, in winter no more than 10 liters on-board computer;
  4. Leonid, Kirovsk. Insignia reminds me of Toyota Corolla - two worthy representatives in the automotive market. Both cars are comfortable and modern. I drove over 100 thousand km in Opel. The run-in took place without a trace - the consumption of gasoline, as it was 9 liters, remained. There were no breakdowns - only scheduled maintenance was carried out. I recommend this car as a reliable and economical sedan, fully corresponding to its price.

The 1.8-liter power unit fully complies with the manufacturer's stated standards. In most cases, the actual level of fuel consumption by an engine is 10 liters per 100 kilometers in urban conditions.

Modification with motor 2.0

  1. Egor, Moscow. I've been driving the Opel Insignia since 2012. Took a new car from the salon. I like appearance car, comfortable and spacious interior, the presence of various chips. There have been no significant problems since the purchase of the car. As for the "appetite" of a car, on average, the on-board computer turns out 11 liters in the warm season and 12 liters during frosts. Stable 7-8 liters on the highway. The car "goes" very well on the track;
  2. Valery, Rostov. For a long time I pondered what is better to buy - Toyota Camry or Opel Insignia. As a result, he made up his mind and took the "German". I read many laudatory reviews about the model. In practice, I was convinced that, indeed, the car perfectly holds the road, has a perfect chassis. In terms of consumption, I will say this, if you drive wisely, there will be no overruns. Otherwise, you can burn 14-15 liters. With adequate driving, the turbocharged Insignia “fires” 12 liters;
  3. Sergey, Chelyabinsk. In order to save fuel, I purchased a 2010 Opel Insignia. I'm not a fan of fast and high-speed driving, so the diesel engine is more than enough for me. I am satisfied with the efficiency of the car - I fill up 7 liters in the city in summer, in winter, taking into account the warming up, the mark rises to 8 liters;
  4. Valentin, Krasnoyarsk. I drive the top-of-the-range model - Business. I got much more from the car than I expected. The turbocharged engine just jerks off. On the track you feel confident and without hesitation you go to overtake. In terms of consumption, the result is 8 liters per 100 km. In the city, the average on-board computer is 12-13 liters;

The diesel 2-liter engine is more economical but less dynamic. The actual fuel consumption of this engine is 7-8 liters. The two-liter turbocharged power unit offers excellent dynamic performance. However, the owner will have to refuel his car at 11-12 liters.

Driver reviews about the consumption of Opel Insignia 2.0 T

  • Maxim, Chelyabinsk. My 2012 Opel Insignia, engine 2.0 (220 horses), automatic. I like the design of the car, the spacious interior, the comfortable driving position. Of the shortcomings, it can be noted electronic systems... They tend to turn off for me. And the engine is powerful, but it doesn't eat much: 6-7 liters on the highway, 12-13 liters in the city.
  • Ilya, Khabarovsk. When it came time to change the car, I chose for a long time and finally bought a 2011 Opel Insignia with gasoline engine 2.0 l and automatic transmission. I have a decent driving experience and I can judge how good the car is. Opel is very good! Large interior and trunk, powerful engine. On a suburban highway, it eats about 6 liters, in the city up to 14.
  • Rodion, Moscow. I took the car in the salon on credit, but it's worth it. My 2014 Opel Insignia is "stuffed" with all sorts of electronic gadgets, I didn't think that you could get so much for its price. At the same time, a solid appearance adds a hundred points to the image. Consumption of a 2-liter engine from 7 to 13 liters of gasoline.
  • Oleg, Murmansk. Opel Insignia 2013 release, 2.0, AT, bought new. Gorgeous purchase! The appearance of the car clearly emphasizes social status, and the dark blue color adds nobility. The handling is perfect, the road keeps very well. The lighting is so good that there is no need for a distant light. Gasoline consumption is on average 10 liters per 100 km.
  • Vitaly, Bryansk. I read various reviews about this model and was a little intimidated. But after a test drive, I bought an Opel Insignia without hesitation. The 2014 model with 2.0 engine was perfect for me as a driver. The package includes even more than expected. 220 horses allow you to feel confident on the road. Consumption from 6 liters on the highway, up to 12 liters in the city.

Opel Insignia 2.0 CDТi

The 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine, with a torque of 350/2500 Nm / rev., Makes it possible to develop a power of 160 horsepower. Works in tandem with a six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission. The maximum speed allowed for the Opel Insignia with such an engine is 212 km / h. Diesel engine, of course, more economical than gasoline, but it does not tolerate severe frosts.

Driver's comments on the consumption of Opel Insignia 2.0 CDTi

  • Bogdan, Kiev. Since I am no longer a boy, I chose a new car to suit my lifestyle. Gotcha 2011 Opel Insignia, diesel engine, automatic transmission... The exterior design ideally suited my requirements - a stylish, solid, presentable car. The mechanical component also pleased me - a powerful engine, good consumption: 5-6 liters on the highway, up to 9 liters in the city.
  • Timofey, Krasnoyarsk. Opel Insignia 2013, AT, engine 2.0, diesel. When buying a car, I had a choice between "German" and "Japanese", each with its own merits. But I chose Insignia all the same. Special thanks to the designers for the design of the car. And driving performance is also up to par. Diesel consumption is very low - 5-7 liters.
  • Alexander, Smolensk. I have a 2012 Opel Insignia, 2 liter diesel. In general, I am quite pleased with the purchase, the car is good. You can, of course, find fault with something, but in the background positive qualities, All the rest does not matter. Good insulation, spacious interior, lighting is just super. I bought a diesel engine and made the right decision, the average consumption is 5 liters per hundred.
  • Anton, Tambov. Opel Insignia 2010, diesel engine 2.0, mechanics. I bought a car three years ago, I took a diesel engine to save fuel, because the driving performance is not worse than that of gasoline models. Many people speak negatively about the suspensions, but I disagree, just what you need. Fuel consumption from 5 to 8 liters.

Opel Insignia 1.8

The 1.8-liter petrol engine is part of the line of engines that Opel Insignia has been equipped with since the release of the first generation. The power that this motor produces is up to 140 horsepower with a torque of 715 Nm. The engine is matched to a six-speed manual transmission and allows the development of maximum speed 205 km / h

Driver reviews on the consumption of Opel Insignia 1.8

  • Vladimir, Kirov. I have a 2011 Opel Insignia, engine 1.8, mechanics. I bought a car two years ago in the salon. I am completely satisfied with the purchase. If we compare the indicators of price / quality, then Insignia wins on all counts. And by adding a stylish design, we get a representative and high-quality car. Consumption on the highway is about 7 liters, in the city - 11 liters.
  • Alexander, Belgorod. I bought an Opel Insignia with a range of 50 thousand. For a relatively low cost, I got a cool car, albeit with a small engine displacement. Improved noise isolation, and now driving is a real pleasure. Gasoline takes an average of 9 liters.
  • Andrey, Volgograd. Before Insignia I had an Opel Vectra. Then I was pleased with the car, but now I can't even compare - heaven and earth! I have Insignia 2012, manual transmission, 1.8. While driving, it seems that there are much more than 140 horses in it. And the consumption is quite small: 6-10 liters.
  • Sergey, Lipetsk. I took the 2011 Opel Insignia from a dealer. Quite a decent car, it looks solid, "grown-up". They said that the 1.8 liter engine was a bit dull, but I did not notice anything like that. When traveling, especially on country roads, it flies forward with an arrow, spending about 6-7 liters. In the city, it reaches 11 liters.

Opel Insignia 1.6 T

Engines of 1.6 T liters, which are equipped with Opel Insignia, allow reaching 170-180 horsepower. Considering the possibility of turbocharging, cars with such an engine are exported better than their 2-liter "get together", besides. the cost of Insignia 1.6 T will be less than Insignia 2.0. The engine is combined with a manual gearbox and has a top speed of 215 km / h.

Drivers' comments on the consumption of Opel Insignia 1.6 T

  • Valery, Ulyanovsk. I bought a 2011 Opel Insignia from the owner, 1.6 T engine, mechanics. The appearance of the car is just super, the interior is spacious, everything fits comfortably. The noise is excellent, you can talk calmly even at high speeds. THAT is not costly. Gasoline consumption in the city up to 11 liters, on the highway - 6-8 liters.
  • Alexey, Tver. Opel Insignia 2013, 1.6 L. I used to have a Toyota Kemri, I bought an Opel for the first time, but I was satisfied with the purchase. Germans and quality are almost synonymous, now I know this from my own experience. Fuel consumption, taking into account the weight of the car, is small, on average - 7.5 liters per hundred kilometers.
  • Maxim, Voronezh. Since I had already managed to be convinced of the vaunted German quality (I had an Opel Astra), I did not even think about the next car. The Opel Insignia, which I bought in 2013, produces 180 horses, which is quite enough for comfortable movement both in the city and on the suburban highway. Economical fuel consumption - from 6 to 10 liters.
  • Oleg, Kazan. Opel Insignia 2013, 1.6 T engine, manual transmission. I had an Opel before, only a different model, so there was no doubt before buying Insignia. New car pleases with its appearance, and a comfortable interior, and a powerful engine that does not consume much fuel - about 5 liters on the highway and 10 liters in the city.

Opel Insignia 1.6

Opel Insignia with a 115-horsepower 1.6-liter engine is considered the "weakest" of the entire series. Its torque is only 155 Nm, and the maximum achievable speed is 192 kilometers per hour. The engine can only be combined with a manual gearbox.

I like the Opel brand, there were both Cadet and Vectra and a lot of things, but they are outdated, and I decided to take Insignia. I waited for the car for five months, because I chose a non-standard package. 1.6 L engine, manual transmission, 180 hp, 2xenon options, good music, bright interior, parking sensors, standard navigator. Even with such a motor, there is enough traction. With a car weighing more than one and a half tons, it is relatively dynamic, does not slow down. The hodovka is well-coordinated, not particularly soft, but at the same time not tough. After installing the non-standard casting at 18, it became a little harsh, the policemen and irregularities are sensitive, but the hodovka does not break through. I use it carefully, and the car does not let me down. The assembly of the car is Russian and the quality is satisfied.

I bought the car in 2011. When I leave the car, I accelerate to 120 km / h. and then the fun begins. Some unknown vibration. How I started to throw my car. I go straight to the officials. After a while, it turns out that the wheels are all inflated differently - one for 4 atmospheres, the rest for 2 or more. A jamb is revealed here, in short, the rear headlight unit does not completely coincide with its place. The tailgate has 3 mm gaps. at both sides. The gaps on the rear doors don't match either. Without hesitation, I write a complaint to the car dealership, they are silent - no answer, no hello. I ask either money back, or another car - they do not answer. I wrote to the head office - nothing too. Fuel consumption is 11 liters per hundred kilometers. I go now in run-in mode. Despite all these bloopers, etc. the car suits me, the family too.

I must say right away that I did not think at all that I would buy an Opel Insignia, but when I bought it, I did not regret it at all. I liked the car both externally and internally, and in terms of technical characteristics and price. Moreover, I didn’t want a car that every other person would have, I wanted something special. Advantages: 1. Everything is super in the cabin, excellent sound insulation, comfortable inside. Economical - consumption from 5 to 8.5 liters. 3. The car is very beautiful externally. You can also say that it was done with high quality: lighting, plastic in the cabin, steering wheel, tinting, tires. Ground clearance- 16 cm, the trunk is available from the rear seats, already come in handy. High-quality assembly and thoughtfulness in every detail - and now a new fan of Opel Insignia has appeared. Of course, everything is perfect, and I would also like to change the antenna on the roof to a shark fin, there is not enough compartment for glasses, there is more space for rear passengers. I am delighted with the car and am not going to change, for several years for sure.

Everyone writes about the reliability of new cars, but I want to write on the contrary. My Opel Insignia is still under warranty, but the warranty ends, and the machine starts to work wonders.) At low speed, some kind of nonsense knocks on the suspension. On TO, nothing was revealed. From the moment of purchase, the car does not listen well to commands from the remote control - it does not want to open, it does not want to close the doors. This is not the only case. Once I flew on a business trip. I left the car at the airport for a couple of days. When I arrived, the battery was completely dead. Then he lit a cigarette by the passers-by. I decided to drive for diagnostics - they did not find anything. The button for opening the fifth door was out of order. And the problem is that this door does not open from the salon. I changed this button under warranty. The ABS unit was also replaced under warranty. Thus, in this brand of cars, I was completely disappointed.

Hello to all motorists. Opel is my wife's vehicle. Appearance: pretty impressive. Previously, I did not see anything special in Opels, but now it can not be a bad competitor to sedans. The car costs more than a lemon, but the cabin is so simple! This is, given that we have a leather interior. Simple, hackneyed design. Our complete set is enough for us right up to our ears! There is everything you need! Opelevtsy - well done - they offer a large number of options! The ground clearance is good. On maintenance - for a year of operation I spent about twenty thousand rubles, there were no problems. As for the expense - I'm in shock! I did not expect such an appetite from this machine. I thought I would eat less than 15-16 liters. So, the car is great for everyday use, the appearance is excellent, it drives excellently, in general, everything is at its best.

Real owner reviews about fuel consumption for Opel Insignia:
Opel insignia

  • Each of us wants a car to be endowed with one important factor - economical fuel consumption. Now in our country there is a crisis, and therefore this indicator is very important. After all, any car owner wants to spend much less money on a car, and as much money as possible on himself. It was found that most of all fuel is consumed due to the distance that the car is driving on fuel.
    Opel Insignia is distinguished by style, elegance, comfort and high technology, unlike other expensive cars.
  • It has an innovative design, advanced assistance system, impressive running system, high technology, high level of security, intuitive interface and roomy interior.
    It has a standard modification. There is a 1.6-liter in it. a four-speed gasoline system with a power characteristic of 116 hp. and an engine with a volume of 1.9 l / 142 hp. The kit also includes several turbo engines - 1.7 l / 181 hp. and 2.0 l / 222 hp. There is also a diesel engine: 2.0 l / 115 hp, 2.0 l / 132 hp. and 2.0 l. / 164 hp.
    There is a model of the basic version, which is equipped with a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic option.
    This was a description of the characteristics of the 2013 model. The 2014 model has the latest turbo engine with gasoline, the volume of which is 1.6 l / 170 hp. The engine system of the fourteenth year improved by 30 horsepower, became more powerful than the engine of the thirteenth year. Became 252 liters. with. and 402 Nm. The engine is equipped with a start and stop systems, working together with a 6 manual transmission or automatic 6 automatic transmission. There is a powerful gasoline engine for the Opel Insignia OPC 2.8 V6 Turbo (326 hp), but it remains in production development.
  • The Opel Insignia 2014 package includes an equipped system for humidifying the air, audio with a screen panel, USB system, headlight washer, heated seats. Also in this car, rear mirrors, stabilization and protection systems are adjusted. Other expensive auto parts, for example the Cosmo, are replenished with parking sensors, a rear-view camera and an IntelliLink multimedia installation.
    Fuel consumption for this model is approximately 14-16 liters 100 km. You can find out the real fuel consumption from the reviews from the owners.
  • Vladimir, Krasnodar. I bought a car in 2013. Until that time, there was an Audi with a 2.8 liter turbocharged engine (acquired in 2010). Of course, in terms of power, Audi is much better than Opel, but in overclocking the same indicators, although prices are different. Old Audi is much more expensive than Opel... I sold Audi, because immediately after the sale, he began to eat a lot of gasoline and began to break down quickly. So, first the clutch flew, then the mirrors. The renovation cost a fairly large sum. In addition, fuel consumption was also expensive. I work for a company located in Moscow, and I have to go there three times a week. Thus, the distance from Krasnodar to Moscow is 1,344 km. Since I had to stand in traffic jams for many hours, the gasoline evaporated instantly. It took 12 liters per 100 km, which is very expensive. Therefore, I decided to change the car for another, namely the Opel Insignia. I took it on the advice of friends, since the characteristics of the Opel from the Audi practically do not differ, however, the consumption of gasoline and the cost of the car differ several times. Now I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I drive to work and use 7 liters of fuel per 100 km. As a result, I spend about 3 thousand on a trip, instead of 5 thousand.
  • Savely, Yekaterinburg. I strongly recommend to everyone to purchase Opel Insignia. Apart from excellent technical characteristics, namely not breaking undercarriage and electronics, it consumes much less fuel than any other car. I took my Opel Insignia last year, in 2014. I was very pleased with it, because in terms of ride comfort and fuel combustion, it exceeds all expectations. I go to work and on vacation with my family every weekend. We love to travel around Russia. We recently returned from Elbrus and got a lot of pleasure not only from the scenery, but also from the trip in this car. Distance 2566 km. It goes through it with ease and spends 256 liters. In the city, a car with a 2.0 liter turbo engine spends only 12.9 liters, taking into account traffic jams. This is several times cheaper than what friends spend on their car.
