For ŠKODA Rapid cars produced in the territory of the Russian Federation, starting from January 1, 2016, the manufacturer provides a quality guarantee for a period of 3 (three) years or until the car reaches 100,000 km (whichever comes first), if At the same time, during the first 2 (two) years of operation, the conditions for providing a quality guarantee do not depend on the mileage. The warranty period for elements, parts and components supplied with the vehicle, but not included in its complete set (except for those to which the warranty does not apply according to the list below in this Service Book) expires simultaneously with Warranty period on the car.

Parts and accessories warranty

The warranty period for original ŠKODA parts and accessories is 2 years without mileage limitation and begins on the day the part is handed over (sold). official dealer or the day the dealer installed the part or accessory on the vehicle.

Perforating corrosion guarantee

For the absence of perforating corrosion, for new cars, a 12-year warranty is provided with no mileage limitation.

Warranty exclusions

Warranty claims may be completely or partially rejected in cases where the malfunction for which the claim is made is directly related to one of the following circumstances:

New car warranty
New ŠKODA vehicles purchased in the Russian Federation are provided with a 2-year unlimited mileage warranty from the date the vehicle was sold by an authorized ŠKODA AUTO dealer. The date of sale is recorded by the official dealer in the service book.
From 01.08.2014, a new option is available for ŠKODA Rapid vehicles manufactured in the Russian Federation - a 3-year warranty or until a mileage of 100,000 km is reached (3-year warranty / 100,000 km).
Purchasing this option replaces the standard warranty conditions for the ŠKODA Rapid with a 3-year warranty or until 100,000 km of total mileage is reached from the moment the vehicle is handed over to the first customer, whichever comes first.
This option is part of the vehicle equipment and can only be purchased when ordering a new vehicle for production from an authorized ŠKODA AUTO dealer as an additional option (PR code EB3 - 3 years / 100,000 km warranty).
Claims under the warranty purchased as the above 3 years / 100,000 km option are considered only at authorized dealerships of the ŠKODA brand located in the Russian Federation.

Warranty for original parts and accessories
Original parts and accessories purchased from an authorized dealer come with a 2-year warranty with no mileage limitation from the moment the part was purchased or installed in an authorized ŠKODA dealer network. Original parts installed during the warranty (free) repair are covered by the warranty until the end of the basic warranty period for the vehicle.

Perforating corrosion guarantee
