CAR RADIO RB1
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
Power On/Off
To turn the car radio power on or off, press the “M” button. In this case, the key must be turned in the ignition switch to the “POWER FOR AUXILIARY ELECTRICITY CONSUMERS” or “IGNITION ON” position.

ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM
When connecting the car radio for the first time or after carrying out any work on the car that required turning off the car radio or battery, you must enter the personal code that you received when purchasing the car. Entering a digital code Turn on the power to the car radio. The message “CODE” will light up on the display. Then the symbol “- - - -” appears on the display, indicating that a digital code must be entered to turn on the car radio. Enter your four-digit code number by pressing the preset buttons “1” - “6”. Example: your code number is 5345. Press the buttons “5”, “3”, “4”, “5” in sequence. As soon as the fourth digit of the code is entered correctly, the car radio will automatically turn on.

Error when entering code
If an error was made when entering the first three digits of the digital code, stop the entry operation and turn off the power to the car radio to prevent the lock mode from entering. Each time an incorrect four-digit code is entered, the car radio will be locked for a certain period, lasting from 5 seconds for the first unsuccessful attempt to 30 minutes for the seventh unsuccessful attempt. To unlock the car radio, leave it on during the blocking period. Once the “- - - -” symbol appears on the display, you can enter the code again. If you turn off the power to the car radio before the end of the lockout period, then after turning on the power, the car radio will not be available until the full lockout period has expired. After 14 unsuccessful attempts, the car radio is completely blocked.

RADIO
Features of receiving radio signals
A car radio is subject to the influence of many external factors that are not present when the receiver is permanently installed in the house. Reception of radio signals with amplitude and frequency modulation, respectively LW/MW and FM, is associated with interference, which depends on the reception conditions and type of signal, but not on the quality of your radio receiver. The quality of amplitude modulation radio signal reception deteriorates when the vehicle is driving near high-voltage power lines, under bridges, or in tunnels. Frequency modulated radio signals can be highly distorted due to reflections from various obstacles (mountains, hills, buildings, etc.). Interference with radio reception may also occur in radio shadow areas (areas blocked from the radio transmitter).

● Installed on diesel engines in countries with cold climates
RTE allows heat exchange between exhaust gases and coolant.
An electric water pump circulates the cooling system and only operates while the engine is warming up.

“C” Exhaust gas heat recovery is closed.
"D" Exhaust gas heat recovery is open.
"a" 3-port valve.
"b" Exhaust gases.
(9) Electric liquid pump.
(10) heat exchanger.
(11) Distribution valve control chamber.
4. Drive shafts
4.1. Clutch
All types of cars have a hydraulic clutch drive.
4.2. Gearboxes
Only one gearbox is installed.
The gear ratios of the gearbox and axle can be changed to suit the user's needs.

4.3. Tubular drive shaft
The left and right drive shafts have a tubular design with a diameter of 36 mm (All types of engines).
4.4. Suspension
MANDATORY: Observe cleanliness and safe work practices.
4.5. Recommended precautions
MANDATORY: Check the presence and condition of the protective rubber caps on the fixed and movable cups of the spring compression device.
- Any contact of the suspension spring with metal objects or
equipment.
- Check the condition of the suspension springs (no signs of impacts, scratches or corrosion). The paint layer on the suspension springs must not be damaged so that bare metal is visible.
4.6. Front axle

All engine types:
● (13) stabilizer bar lateral stability
● (14) “Compressed type” steering knuckle
● (15) Mechanically welded painted subframe
●Adopts double row ball bearing with built-in magnetic wheel (48 polar pairs)
● Lower removable ball joint steering knuckle
● Subframe mounted on body using mounting lugs
● Subframe extensions sitting on two subframe mounting pins
● Subframe extensions bolted to the lower beam and to the front of the body
4.7. Rear axle

(16) Shock absorber cup.
(17) shock absorber.
(18) Metal suspension spring.
(19) Hydraulic swivel joint (Rubber swivel joint for CRD version).
NOTE: CRD = for complex road conditions.
All engine types:
● Anti-roll bar
● Mounting bracket rear axle to the body
● Rear axle shank, fastened with 4 bolts
● Anti-roll bar located in the rear axle beam
● The anti-roll bar cannot be removed; its ends are welded to the rear axle beam

The characteristics of shock absorbers are adapted to the conditions of use of the vehicle:
● Passenger cars (except CRD) are equipped with hydraulic supports (20) that improve
driving characteristics and smoothness
● Commercial vehicles are equipped with composite supports (21) to accommodate heavier
operating conditions
A CRD (heavy road) chassis is used on some versions and in countries where it is required.
Items modified for the CRD version chassis:
● Front ground clearance increased by 7 mm
● Rear ground clearance increased by 10 mm by changing the lower rear spring mounts
● Front and rear shock absorbers(specs are the same, but housings and internals are modified to give the same compression and rebound strokes despite the changes ground clearance car)
● Rear axle silent blocks must be made of two materials (Also: Commercial vehicle)
4.8. Bridge geometry
Axle geometry control is performed when the body is installed at working height.
5. Steering
5.1. Electro-hydraulic power steering
The electric pump assembly creates an additional torque that is added to the torque that the driver applies to the steering wheel.
The electrohydraulic power steering operates based on signals from the controlled electric pump unit.
The electric pump assembly allows you to change the gain depending on the following parameters:
●Vehicle speed
● Steering wheel speed
● Temperature working fluid LDS power steering

● (22) Power steering fluid reservoir
● (23) High pressure pipe
● (24) Power steering mechanism with built-in hydraulic cylinder
● (25) Power steering valve
● (26) Power steering electric pump assembly installed on the front right side member
● (27) Low pressure pipe
The fluid level in the power steering is checked using the cap with the dipstick at “c”.
NOTE: The electric pump group is available on all vehicles equipped with a diesel particulate filter.
5.2. Power Steering (Integrated Power Steering Pump)

The power steering system consists of the following elements:
● (28) Tank hydraulic fluid steering systems
● (29) Pump installed
● (30) Steering mechanism with hydraulic cylinder and hydraulic distributor of traditional design
● (31) Pipe with working fluid cooler
6. brake mechanisms
