CAR RADIO RB1
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
Power On/Off
To turn the car radio power on or off, press the “M” button. In this case, the key must be turned in the ignition switch to the “POWER FOR AUXILIARY ELECTRICITY CONSUMERS” or “IGNITION ON” position.
ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM
When connecting the car radio for the first time or after carrying out any work on the car that required turning off the car radio or battery, you must enter the personal code that you received when purchasing the car. Entering a digital code Turn on the power to the car radio. The message “CODE” will light up on the display. Then the symbol “- - - -” appears on the display, indicating that a digital code must be entered to turn on the car radio. Enter your four-digit code number by pressing the preset buttons “1” - “6”. Example: your code number is 5345. Press the buttons “5”, “3”, “4”, “5” in sequence. As soon as the fourth digit of the code is entered correctly, the car radio will automatically turn on.
Error when entering code
If an error was made when entering the first three digits of the digital code, stop the entry operation and turn off the power to the car radio to prevent the lock mode from entering. Each time an incorrect four-digit code is entered, the car radio will be locked for a certain period, lasting from 5 seconds for the first unsuccessful attempt to 30 minutes for the seventh unsuccessful attempt. To unlock the car radio, leave it on during the blocking period. Once the “- - - -” symbol appears on the display, you can enter the code again. If you turn off the power to the car radio before the end of the lockout period, then after turning on the power, the car radio will not be available until the full lockout period has expired. After 14 unsuccessful attempts, the car radio is completely blocked.
RADIO
Features of receiving radio signals
A car radio is subject to the influence of many external factors that are not present when the receiver is permanently installed in the house. Reception of radio signals with amplitude and frequency modulation, respectively LW/MW and FM, is associated with interference, which depends on the reception conditions and type of signal, but not on the quality of your radio receiver. The quality of amplitude modulation radio signal reception deteriorates when the vehicle is driving near high-voltage power lines, under bridges, or in tunnels. Frequency modulated radio signals can be highly distorted due to reflections from various obstacles (mountains, hills, buildings, etc.). Interference with radio reception may also occur in radio shadow areas (areas blocked from the radio transmitter).
