Of course, the oil in the bridges changes according to the mileage, but the car was recently bought, and what and when the previous owners poured it into the bridges is unclear, so I decided to change everything. To do this, I purchased 3 liters of Liqui Moly 75W90 transmission oil and 6 cylinders of a universal Step-Up cleaner.

5) Remove the cover and drain the old oil. Be careful not to pour yourself over.

6) Thoroughly spill all the insides of the bridge with a cleaner (you can use any car in aerosol).

7) Remove the remnants of the old sealant with a metal brush.

8) Once again we spill everything with a cleaner.

9) With a rag we collect the remnants of the cleaner from the differential housing.

10) Thoroughly blow through all the insides with compressed air (the task is to completely dry the remains of the cleaner).

11) We turn to the lid, it also needs to be thoroughly cleaned of sealant and dirt.

12) Rinse and dry the lid.

Don't skimp on sealant, buy only high quality high temperature automotive sealant.

13) Apply the sealant.

Apply the sealant with a flat roller approx. 6 mm in diameter without tearing. The holes are supposed to be bypassed from the inside.

14) Carefully, trying not to lubricate the sealant, install the cover in place.

15) We stretch the mounting bolts with a torque wrench (moment 41 N * m). Gently wipe off excess sealant with a rag. Do not rush to fill in oil immediately, let the sealant dry.

With the rear gearbox, everything is exactly the same. The only thing is that its lid turned out to be more rusty. Therefore, it was decided to sandblast it.
